Maintenance Technician

Over het bedrijf

You will work in the Technical Service / Maintenance department of a modern pallet service centre. Every day, thousands of wooden pallets are inspected, sorted and prepared for reuse using advanced automated equipment. Safety, teamwork and quality are key priorities, and you will work closely with your colleagues to ensure all machines and installations perform at their best. You will report to the Maintenance Leader.

Wat ga je doen?

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment. Your daily tasks include:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
• Install, replace and test technical components.
• Maintain conveyors, stackers and other production equipment.
• Record maintenance activities in the maintenance system.
• Support technical improvements and help optimise production processes.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Working environment

You work in a modern production environment with automated machinery and technical installations. The temperature is normally comfortable but can become warm during the summer. Because wooden pallets are processed, the workplace can be dusty. Your work may involve lifting, climbing, working at heights, working in confined spaces and around moving machinery and electrical installations. Hearing protection and other PPE are provided where required.

Wat vragen we van jou?

• English language level B1.
• MBO Level 4 diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a similar technical field.
• VCA VOL certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Good electrical knowledge and technical insight.
• Able to work independently and solve technical problems.
• Safety-conscious and responsible.
• Wearing PPE is mandatory.
• Jewellery and make-up are not allowed during work.

• Salary of €15,98 per hour
• 8.33% Holiday allowance will be paid every week

Jouw werktijden

Two-shift system:

• 06:00 – 14:00
• 14:00 – 22:00

Breaks:

• 2 × 10 minutes (paid)
• 30-minute lunch break (unpaid)
