Production Employee

About the company

The company is a leading producer of bake-off bread products in the Netherlands. Every day, products such as pistolets and kaiser rolls are produced and packaged for customers across Europe. You will work in an international team with colleagues from different cultures. The production environment is modern and includes semi-automated and automated production and packaging lines.

What will you do?

As a Production Employee, you support the production process and help ensure that bakery products meet the required quality and food safety standards. The work can be physically active and the temperature may feel warm because of the baking process. Your tasks include:

• Supplying ingredients and materials to the production line.
• Supporting operators during production and machine changeovers.
• Performing visual quality checks.
• Packing, sorting and handling bakery products.
• Keeping your workplace clean and organised.
• Following hygiene, food safety and safety regulations.
• Reporting quality issues, damages or other deviations to your supervisor.

What do we expect from you?

For this position, it is important that you:

• Have basic communicative English.
• Can understand work instructions and communicate with supervisors and colleagues.
• Are willing to work in shifts.
• Are comfortable working in a food production environment.
• Follow hygiene and safety rules carefully.
• Are flexible, motivated and able to work well in a team.
• Jewellery and makeup are not allowed during work because of food safety regulations.

Your working hours

You work an average of 38 hours per week in a 3-shift system:

• Morning shift: 07:00 – 15:00
• Afternoon shift: 15:00 – 23:00
• Night shift: 23:00 – 07:00

The company is moving towards a 5-shift system, which means weekend work may also become part of the schedule. During your shift, you have one longer break and two shorter breaks.
