About the company

The Service centre in Tiel opened in 1995. Thousands of wooden pallets are inspected and repaired daily. An automated line has operated there since 2013.

What will you do?

Job Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks.
• Move, store, and pick up pallets with a forklift.
• Supply materials to the production lines.
• Move finished products to the warehouse.
• Scan and register stock movements using a tablet.
• Complete the daily forklift safety check.
• Keep the work area and traffic routes clean, safe, and organized according to the 5S system.

Working Conditions You will work in the Operations / Logistics department and report to the Yard Leader. The job requires getting on and off the forklift many times during the day. You will work near other employees, vehicles, and machines. You will also walk, climb, push, and pull during your shift. The work environment is a normal production area. It can be warm during the summer. Cutting wood creates dust. Please keep this in mind if you have a dust allergy or breathing problems.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for someone with a valid forklift certificate or who is willing to obtain one. You work safely, accurately, and responsibly. You stay calm under pressure and enjoy working as part of a team. Experience in logistics, production, or internal transport is an advantage, but not required. You will receive on-the-job training. Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. 

• You must be able to speak English at B1 level. 
• Jewellery and make-up are not allowed during work.
