Sorting Line Operator

About the company

You will work in the Operations / Production department of a modern pallet service centre. Every day, thousands of wooden pallets are inspected, sorted and prepared for reuse. The workplace is safe, organised and uses modern automated equipment. You will report to the Production Team Leader.

What will you do?

As a Sorting Line Operator, you are responsible for keeping the automated sorting process running smoothly. Your daily tasks include:

• Operate and monitor the automated pallet sorting line.
• Inspect wooden pallets for quality.
• Correct sorting deviations when necessary.
• Perform basic first-line troubleshooting on the production line.
• Register production results and machine faults in the system.
• Keep your workplace clean and organised according to the 5S method.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Working environment You work in a production environment with automated conveyor systems and moving machinery. The temperature is normally comfortable but can become warm during the summer. Because wooden pallets are processed, the workplace can be dusty. The job involves standing, walking, bending and manually handling pallets throughout the day. Hearing protection and other PPE are provided where required.

What do we expect from you?

• English language level B1.
• Basic computer skills.
• Technical affinity and interest in working with machines.
• Able to work accurately and solve simple technical problems.
• Safety-conscious and a good team player.
• Experience in production or logistics is an advantage, but not required.
• Internal training is provided.
• Wearing PPE is mandatory.
• Jewellery and make-up are not allowed during work.

• Salary of €15,98 per hour
• 8.33% Holiday allowance will be paid every week

Your working hours

Two-shift system:

• 06:00 – 14:00
• 14:00 – 22:00

Breaks:

• 2 × 10 minutes (paid)
• 30-minute lunch break (unpaid)
